On 23 March 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed H.E. Mr. Kinzang Dorji, Ambassador of Bhutan to Thailand, and high-level delegation from His Majesty’s Secretariat, and discuseed further development cooperation between Thailand and Bhutan on youth skill development under De-suung Skilling Programme (DSP) at TICA.
Both sides discussed the possibility to organize the short-term training and dispatch of experts
and volunteers in various fields to equip the capacity building on Bhutanese youths under the De-suung Skilling Programme (DPS) , such as construction, culinary, Information Technology (IT), food processing and packaging, electronics etc.. In this connection, Bhutan side also sought for advice on the vocational institutes or agencies that could dispatch either experts or volunteers to work in Bhutan for 3 months to enhance capability of the Bhutanese youths. Bhutan side expressed gratitude to TICA for continued support in development cooperation programme and in particular for its significant contribution to the Bhutanese Royal Project over the years.
