On 14 September 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed H.E. Mr. Kim Je Bong, Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Thailand. Miss Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division and relevant officers from the Embassy and TICA were also present at the meeting.

 

Both sides exchanged views on Thailand’s development cooperation policy and programmes as well as North Korea’s interests in trainings in various areas such as Thai language, health, tourism, and environment and explored possibilities for future bilateral and trilateral cooperation between Thailand and other development partners especially in contributing to human resource development for North Korea.
