On 7 August 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Ms. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, attended the orientation organized by KOICA for the officials from the Department of Fisheries of Thailand who will participate in the traning course entitled “Capacity Building in Fishstock Assessment” in Pusan, the Republic of Korea, during 14-27 August 2023.  On this occasion, the Director-General of TICA gave a remarks expressing her sincere congratulations to the participants and being confident that the training course will enhance the skills and core competencies of the officials in fish stock management which will beneficial to Thailand’s fisheries sector.  

The said traning course is the first activity under the Fourth Action Plan between Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) on the Joint Cooperation (2023-2025) which was signed by the Director-General of TICA and Country Director of KOITCA on 17 July 2023 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
