On 15 October 2026, Lt. Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) chaired the meeting with Kasetsart University and relevant Thai private sector in Mozambique to discuss on the Project on Sustainable Agricultural Technology Development in Boane and Chókwè in Mozambique, held at TICA.

The meeting discussed on the project concept paper to ensure that the designed activities align with Mozambique’s context and needs. Furthermore, they also discussed opportunities to integrate activities with Thai private sector in Mozambique, promoting collaboration between public sector and private sectors through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach. This project is under Thailand–Africa Initiative (TAI), which aims to strengthen development cooperation, trade, investment, and food security between Thailand and Mozambique.
