On 13 September 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), gave an opening remarks at International Fund for Agricultural Development’s (IFAD) side-event under the theme “Promoting South-South and Triangular Cooperation as a crisis response mechanism” at the Global South-South Development Expo (GSSD 2022) at United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok.

On this occasion, the Director-General of TICA emphasized Thailand’s efforts in tackling COVID-19 problems, as well as its role in enhancing food security. She also confirmed Thailand's readiness for partnership in agricultural development cooperation.
