On 16 February 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, together with Mr. José Antonio Gonzales Norris, Executive Director of Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation, Dr. Normy Wieslawa De Pawlikowski Amiel, Director of the General Office for International Technical Cooperation, Ministry of Health of Peruand, and Mr. Óscar Ugarte Ubilluz, Director of the National School of Public Health (ENSAP) of the Republic of Peru, gave the opening remarks for Thailand - Peru Joint International Webinar On “Strategics and Health Measures for the Prevention of Dengue, Malaria and the Status of Monkeypox”
 
This webinar was led by two distinguished speakers from Thailand and Peru, namely; 1) Dr. Charuttaporn Jitpeera, MD, Division of Epidemiology, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand and 2) Dr. Cesar Vladimir Munayco, Director General of the National Centre for Epidemiology, Prevention and Disease Control (CDC) of the Ministry of Health
 
This event is organized as part of Thailand - Peru Joint International Webinar, in which both sides agreed to work together in the field of public health through networking of health experts, exchanges of information, experiences and best practices in clinical management, contact tracing infection control and public health measures in Monkeypox, Dengue and Malaria in order to improve preparedness and respond more effectively to those diseases and emrging pandemics.
 
With over 250 healthcare professionals in attendance, the webinar was actively participated by Thai, Peruvians and other Latin American Countries healthcare professionals with substantive questions for the speaker on a variety of issues, such as the guidelines for Monkeypox, Dengue and Malaria patients, healthcare management, vaccination, healthcare workers management, coinfection prevention and infection control, and so on.
