On 19 November 2021 H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand co-chaired the 4th Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) between Thailand and Viet Nam, with H.E. Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam.

Both sides agreed to work closely to strengthen bilateral development cooperation towards Sustainable Development Partnership  through the Consultation on technical cooperation by  focusing in 4  key security areas namely, health , food , employment and energy and environment.  Moreover, Both sides agreed to continue the implementation of the bilateral development cooperation  such as dispatchment of volunteers and experts in Thai teaching languages in Vietnamese Universities, the establishment Artificial Reefs in Cà Mau Province and the sustainable community development based on the application of SEP in Thái Nguyên and Bến Tre Provinces.
