On 25 July 2024, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), chaired a meeting with relevant Thai agencies to discuss the implementation of programmes under the 3-Year Work Plan for 2023 – 2025 between TICA and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD). Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, and relevant officials were also present at the Meeting venue, Centara Life Government Complex Hotel and Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana.

The Meeting served as a platform for Thai agencies to discuss and provide input the cooperation projects to ensure synergies and effective coordination and implementation of the Work Plan. The Work Plan encompasses development cooperation projects at bilateral, trilateral, and regional levels in Southeast Asia and the Mekong sub-region in the areas of environment, green finance, agriculture, public health, community development, and urban planning.

Representatives from relevant Thai agencies, including the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning, Chiang Mai Provincial Office, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Department of Pollution Control, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Office of the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health, Department of Disease Control, Department of Medical Sciences, Rubber Authority of Thailand, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, and Prince of Songkla University, also attended the meeting.
