On 13 June 2023, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) organized the medical webinar between Thailand and Kenya on “Thailand’s Experience in COVID-19 Vaccine Production Technologies and Vaccine Management System”

This webinar was led by 2 speakers, namely; 1) Mr. Apichai Pojlertaroon, Assistant Director of Pharmacy from the Bureau of General Communicable Diseases, Department of Disease Control and 2) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranyoo Phoolcharoen, the Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Chulalongkorn University.

This event was actively participated by Kenyan healthcare professionals from Kenya Biovax Institute, Kenya Medical Research Institute, University of Nairobi and Ministry of Health of Kenya with substantive questions for the speaker on a variety of issues, such as vaccine management in Thailand, criteria for choosing appropriate vaccine type for Thai people, including producing COVID–19 by Plant Molecular Farming method, and so on.
