On 5 February 2024 Privy Councilor General Kampanat Ruddit, Chairman of the Royal Project Foundation Executive Board presided over the opening ceremony of the International Workshop on the Highland Best Sustaninable Agricultural Practices (Today) for Better Future Development. On this occasion, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General, Acting Director-General, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) also delivered welcome address online.

This workshop is organized by the Royal Project in collaboration with the Highland Research and Development Institute (HRDI) and TICA from 5-9 February 2024 at "Chanaka Dhibesra Damri" the Royal Project Agricultural Research and Development Center, Chiangmai province. The objectives of the workshop are sharing knowledge and experiences on crop production under food safety standards across the supply chain, quality control, field management, post-harvest handling and customer delivery arrangement. A total 34 participants are public, academic and private sectors from 8 countries including Myanmar, Cambodia, Bhutan, Lao PDR, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
