On 16th September 2014, Director-General of TICA co-chaired with Mr. Casper Peek and delivered closing remarks in the workshop. The participants included representatives from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Loa PDR, Senegal, Tajikistan and Thai institutes such as Department of Health, ASEAN Institute for Health Development of Mahidol University, Phrabarommarajchanok Institute for Health Workforce Development, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Faculty of Nursing of Chiangmai University, UNFPA and TICA staff.
The validation workshop had successful result. The participants discussed and proposed useful method/process to implement development cooperation under both bilateral and trilateral framework especially Thailand in cooperation with UNFPA on Maternal Health and related issues. The workshop approved to increase efficiency by focusing on need assessment of cooperation as a main point as well as to strengthen the collaboration and network on reproductive health. The workshop is a good sign that will lead to the implementation of effective cooperation in the future.
