The OGOP Project Steering Committee Meeting between Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand and Queen’s Project Office (QPO), Bhutan was held on 20 June 2016 in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The Bhutanese Delegation was headed by Mr. Tashi, Deputy Chamberlain of QPO whereas Thai Delegation was led by Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director - General of TICA.
This occasion was joined by experts from Ubon Ratchathani University and the representatives from TICA, the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka and relevance agencies from Bhutan.
Both sides agreed on the working agenda and also agreed to discuss on the different aspects concerning the Progress Report of the implementation of preparation phase since 2014 and discuss on the OGOP 3 years’ work plan (2016 – 2018).
In this occasion, the Director – General of TICA visited OGOP shop at Thimphu Ecological Park, which was opened on 5 June 2016 and also TICA provided some equipment such as one set of barcode printer and reader including PC, receipt printer and etc. for the launch of this shop.
