Director-General of TICA gave a talk on the topic of “Inspirations: Sharing Experiences - Thailand’s Development Diplomacy” at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai Province
On 9 August 2016, Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephitak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, gave a special talk on the topic of “Inspirations: Sharing Experiences – Thailand’s Development Diplomacy” at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai Province. The main objective of the talk was to inspire the students by adopting the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy (SEP) into their university lives, as a part of “How to Live and Learn on Campus 2016”. The talk was held at C2-402 room of Mae Fah Luang University. The first-year students, students from Development Studies Department and students under the scholarship programme of TICA from Vanuatu, Uganda and Nigeria, as well as professors at the School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University attended the talk.
In addition, the Director-General of TICA had a meeting with Associate Professor Dr. Vanchai Sirichana, President and executives of Mae Fah Luang University. Both sides had a fruitful discussion to further strengthen cooperation between TICA and Mah Fah Luang University, including TICA’s proposal to include more curriculums based on the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy (SEP). The officials concerned from Mae Fah Luang University and TICA also joined the meeting.
