On 19 March 2018, Songpanburi Hotel, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) attended the swearing-in ceremony of Peace Corps Volunteers Group 130 and the handed-over 67 volunteers to Thai Agencies along with Mr. Peter Haymond, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok on behalf of the US Ambassador to Thailand.
TICA in corporate with Peace Corps Thailand office have been implementing two volunteer programmes namely (1.) Youth in Development Project –YinD and 2.) Teacher Empowerment for Student Success (TESS) since 2561-2565(Group 130-134) in order to develop Thai youth life skills, leadership, volunteerism as a part of community development and improve English skills for the future career opportunity.
