Ambassador of Australia to Thailand Paid a Courtesy Call on Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA)

On 2 November 2021, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, together with Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Deputy Director-General, welcomed H.E. Mr. Allan McKinnon, the Australian Ambassador to Thailand, along with officials from the development section of the Australian Embassy at the Reception Room, Thailand International Cooperation Agency.

On this occasion, both sides discussed development cooperation between Thailand and Australia, where the Australian Ambassador proposed two projects for TICA’s consideration, namely: (1) the Mekong-Australia Partnership on Transnational Crime (MAP-TNC); and (2) the Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I). Furthermore, both sides exchanged views and information regarding regional development in the Mekong subregion and ASEAN, including bilateral and trilateral partnership for development cooperation.
