On 4 December 2020, Mr. MORITA Takahiro, Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) paid a courtesy call on Miss Pattarat Hongtong, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) to introduce himself as new Chief Representative of JICA, Thailand Office. Both sides discussed about the strengthening of development cooperation between Thailand and Japan in all aspects,such as Technical Cooperation Projects, Individual Experts, Third Country Training Programme, as well as Triangular Cooperation and cooperation in the region under ACMECS and Mekong-Japan Frameworks. In addition, JICA expressed appreciation for TICA’s facilitation on the return of the Japanese Volunteers to Thailand which the first batch arrived today.
