On 4 October 2023, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General, Acting Director-General, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Mr. Ham Jeong-han, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand, jointly presided over the Handover of KOICA Overseas Volunteers (KOVs) Ceremony held at the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, Bangkok. The event were also attended by Ms. Jun Youngsuk, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, Ms. Patchara Kosinanont, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division and representatives from TICA.

The six KOVs were handed over to Dhonburi Rajabhat University, Sakonnakhon Rajabhat University, Surindra Rajabhat University, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Loei Rajabhat University and Walailak University under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. They will work for one year in the field of Korean Language Education.
