On 30 September 2023, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) together with TICA officers presented at TICA’s for disseminating and showcasing of Thailand’s international cooperation tasks, particularly the success of Ms. Korawan Sirinan who worked as International Tourism Promotion volunteer at Kushiro City, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. Ms. Korawan worked under the “Friends from Thailand- FFT” programme to promote Kushiro’s tourism attraction through social medias during September to December 2022. Her success was remarkable as she was the first foreigner who appointed as a Sightseeing Ambassador of Cool Kushiro City.

The Global Festa JAPAN is annually held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. In this year, the Global Festa 2023 under the main theme “International cooperation to create the world. The more friends the better” during 30 September – 1 October 2023 aims at increasing a better understanding of international cooperation and strengthening connectivity of developing countries to encounter the current new world challenges. In this regard, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo has very well cooperated, coordinated, and facilitated for TICA to join the event.
