On 15 January 2025, Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong. Deputy Director-General. Acting Director General of TICA attended a bilateral meeting along with Ambassador Jane Makori, Deputy Director of Asia and the Pacific Directorate at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kenya. The meeting was attended by Miss Morakot Janemathukorn Ambassador of Thailand to Kenya, Lieutenant Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to the TICA, Mrs. Chachsaran Lertkiattiwong, Director of International Development Cooperation Division of TICA and concerned officials from both sides.

TICA’s Deputy Director-General informed the participants about the results of the PSC meeting on 14 January 2025. The meeting was lively and cordial, and also expressed its readiness to collaborate with Kenya in other areas beyond agriculture. The Thai side also provided an overview of the
collaboration between Thailand and Kenya, highlighting Kenya's potential as a partner for cooperation in various sectors and emphasizing that the benefits of such collaboration will extend to the people of both countries.

Kenya’s Deputy Director-General expressed her gratitude for Thailand’s support of the Kenya School of Agriculture and expressed her interest in seeking opportunities to cooperate with Thailand in the future and also emphasized that TICA’s cooperation project in Kenya is an example of tangible South-South cooperation, which will enhance people-to-people relations between Thailand and Kenya
