On 2 December 2025, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), participated as a panelist in an Associated Event under the theme “Measurement of South-South Cooperation”, held during the 7^th Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation. The forum was co-hosted by TICA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) from 2-4 December 2025 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok.

The Deputy Director-General shared Thailand’s experiences in implementingSouth-South and Triangular Cooperation as an emerging donor, and various challenges, including monitoring and evaluation and the measurement of development outcomes. She also reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to work closely with all development partners to further enhance mechanisms and tools for effective development cooperation. Representatives from several countries, including Kazakhstan, Morocco, Türkiye, Colombia, and Indonesia also participated in the Associated Event.
