On 25 March 2024, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General, Acting Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) welcomed Mr. Parmer Heacox, Acting Country Director of Peace Corps Thailand, and Ms. Suthanya Sukphaisal , Executive and Communications Assistant, at TICA. Also present at the meeting were relevant TICA officials.

Both sides discussed how to enhance cooperation between Peace Corps and TICA, including facilitation of the application of multiple re-entry visas for Peace Corps Volunteers working in Thailand and opportunities for Friends from Thailand (FFT) Volunteers and Peace Corps Volunteers to work together in third countries in sectors of mutual interest such as agricultural, health, environmental and community development. Moreover, Mr. Wattanawit expressed keen interest to learn from Peace Corps an effective and successful volunteer management process, which Mr. Parmer was willing to share.
