On 27 July 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Mr. Adama Mariko, Secretary-General of the Finance in Common (FiC), and delegation during their visit to Thailand to prepare for the 6th FiC Summit, which will be held in Thailand in 2027. Also in attendance were Mr. Anouj Mehta, Strategic Development Advisor of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Mr. Jean-Pierre Marceli, Country Director of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in Thailand.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged information on the roles of their respective organizations, as well as explored opportunities for collaboration in the 6th FiC Summit. The FiC requested support from TICA in organizing the said meeting, which will be the first FiC Summit held in Asia.

The 6th FiC Summit, expected to bring together approximately 2,000 participants from the network of Public Development Banks (PDBs), member banks and financial institutions worldwide. It is an important platform for promoting cooperation among development banks and finance institutions to jointly drive the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and providing an opportunity for Thailand to showcase its role in development cooperation at the regional and global levels.
