On 11 February 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, welcomed H.E. Ana Maria Prieto Abad, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia, to Thailand, and Mr. Juan Gaviria Betancur, Deputy Head of Mission, at the Reception Room, Thailand International Cooperation Agency. Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Deputy Director-General of TICA also attended. 

Both sides welcomed the progress of development cooperation between Thailand and Colombia under the 3-year development programme 2020-2022, including the  agricultural sector, where alternative development is the focus, and the wellness /community tourism. For these two sectors, the exchange of experts and field visits will be arranged this year. Regarding the science and technology sector, both sides will continue to explore and exchange innovation knowledge in response to BCG economy. Furthermore, the Colombian side will share the expertise regarding the Bogota Manual (Standardization of Indicators of Technological Innovation in Latin American and Caribbean Countries).
