On 15 November 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) attended the Third Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) Executive Board Meeting at APCD Office.

 

The Meeting acknowledged the progress of various cooperation programmes with partners including completed and ongoing activities during July-November 2022. The Meeting also discussed and shared the outcomes of major programmes and activities, highlights of which include APCD’s implementation of the Disability-Inclusive Business (DIB) and Training Courses and a new branch of 60+Plus Bakery and Chocolate Café at the Thai Red Cross Society to be operated by the end of January 2023.

 

Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), as member of APCD Executive Board, supports APCD in conducting activities under the international cooperation framework. The activities include APCD’s participation in the Global South-South Development Expo 2022 (GSSD Expo 2022) from 12-14 September 2022 in Bangkok, APCD as an implementing agency for the project on “Capacity Building on Inclusive Education for Maldivian Professionals at Department of Inclusive Education (IED), Teachers and Parents of students with Disabilities at Key School (Malé and Atolls)” in 2022 as well as 2021-2024 APCD’s project under TICA and JICA Third Country Training Programme (TCTP).
