On 22 August 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed H.E. Archbishop Peter Bryan Wells, Apostolic Nuncio of the Apostolic Nunciature in Thailand (Embassy of the Holy See). Miss Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Promotion and Coordination Division and relevant officers from both sides were also present at the meeting.

Both sides exchanged views and information on international development engagement including human resource development, environment, agriculture and religious and cultural exchanges, and explored possibilities for future bilateral and trilateral cooperation between TICA and the Holy See in Thailand, as well as in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar where the Embassy also has jurisdiction.
