Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), participated in the 2025 Development Leaders Conference (DLC), during 3 - 4 June 2025 at Factory Hammerbrooklyn, Hamburg, Germany. The conference was co-hosted by the Center for Global Development (CGD) in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The 2025 DLC aimed to review progress and challenges in development cooperation amidst a rapidly changing global context. The conference served as a platform for discussions on enhancing the effectiveness of development cooperation, with a focus on exploring innovative financing approaches and advancing more effective climate finance solutions.

On this occasion, the Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) participated in the panel discussion on “Rebuilding Trust and Forging Partnerships” emphasizing that South-South and Triangular Cooperation is a key tool for building trust and advancing inclusive development cooperation. It is not a replacement for North-South Cooperation. Thailand is committed to expanding partnerships with traditional and emerging donors, the United Nations, and all relevant stakeholders through knowledge sharing and best practices. Thailand also prioritizes building trust in development cooperation as a foundation for sustainable transformation and remains open to learning and working closely with all sectors to shape a more equitable and sustainable future.
