On 14 June 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Mr. Cyrille Bellier, AFD Head of Department Europe, Middle East, Asia on the occasion of Mr. BELLIER's visit to Thailand. Mr. Jean-Pierre Marcelli, Director of AFD Thailand, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA, Miss Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division and relevant officers from both sides were also present.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the integration of Expertise France (EF) into AFD which will further enhance AFD’s role in development and technical cooperation. Both sides also discussed ways forward to promote partnership and cooperation between AFD and TICA both at the bilateral and trilateral level to enhance the visibility of technical and development cooperation between Thailand and France both in Thailand, the neighbouring countries and Southeast Asia Region.
