On 28 November 2025, Lt. Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Ms. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, jointly presided over the World Friends Korea (WFK) KOICA Volunteer Handover Ceremony held at Centara Life Government Complex Hotel and Convention, Chaengwattana.  Besides, the representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), as well as the representatives from relevant universities and schools under MHESI and OBEC also attended the event.

At the ceremony, seven (7) WFK volunteers were handed over to three (3) universities and four (4) schools to serve in Korean Language Education for one year, namely; Walailak University (Tha Sala, Nakhon Si Thammarat), Loei Rajabhat University (Mueang Loei, Loei), Khon Kaen University (Mueang Khon Kaen, Khon Kaen), Kanaratbamrungpathumthani School (Mueang Pathumthani, Pathumthani), Wat Phuntthabucha School (Thung Khru district Bangkok), Rajavinit Bang Khae Pankhum School (Dusit district, Bangkok, and Thaihaad School (Mueang Samut Songkhram district, Samut Songkhram) .
