On 12 December 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), chaired a debriefing meeting with a high-level agricultural delegation from African countries following their study visit to Thailand. The discussion was moderated by Lt. Sorawud Preedidilok, Minister attached to TICA.

During the meeting, the delegation exchanged views on current challenges in agricultural development and food security, as well as areas of interest for future cooperation with Thailand. These included applying the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in agriculture, capacity-building for smallholder farmers, using agricultural machinery, increasing productivity and upgrading the quality of farm products, adding value to agricultural produce, and leveraging innovation and digital systems in the farming sector.

The meeting was held under the framework of the Thailand–Africa Development Forum (TADF), which took place from 7 to 13 December 2025. The Forum was attended by senior representatives from 13 African countries and two African international organizations, namely the Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
