On the evening of May 12, 2025, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) hosted a Dinner Talk as part of the Thailand Development Forum for Africa at the Amari Bangkok Hotel. TICA was represented by Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong, Deputy Director-General, alongside Lieutenant Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to TICA, welcoming distinguished members of the African delegation participating in the Forum.

On this occasion, TICA secured prominent speakers for this significantevent: Mr. Yanapol Limpanachokchai, Vice Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries and Mr. Thum Niemskul, Head of the Africa and Middle East Regional Sub-Division, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. The speakers talked about directions and opportunities of trade and investment between Thailand and Africa from perspectives of public and private sectors followed by comments and information exchanges among speakers and delegates from Africa on economic trade and investment in Africa.
