Between 6 - 12 February 2023 the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) togather with Royal Forest Department organised a study visit on forest conservation at Northeast Region in Thailand. The study visit is the one of the activities of Project on Forest Conservation under the Thailand-Lao PDR Three-Year Development Cooperation Programme.

The propose of the study visit is to improve knowledge and skills on community forest and wildfire prevention at Baan Gud Mak Fai, Udonthani, forest-based ecotourism at Baan Huay Leb Meu, Bueng Kan and agroforestry at Puparn Royal Development Study Center, Sakon Nakhon. In the last day of the visit, the delegation attended a summary meeting and drafted a further activity plan.

The implemention of the Project on Forest Conservation corresponds with the Bangkok Goals on BCG Economy Model on the thrid key area, environmental conservation and waste management.
