On 13 – 14 January 2026, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) jointly organized a Workshop on Thailand’s ODA, at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA; and Mr. Guillaume Delalande, Advisor, Development Finance and Engagement, Development Cooperation Directorate (DCD), OECD, delivered opening remarks. The workshop brought together over 90 representatives from 30 Thai government agencies.
This workshop is a part of the Thailand-OECD Country Programme (Phase 2), building upon the “TICA-OECD Training Course on Development Finance Statistics” held on 4 – 5 February 2025 in Bangkok, aiming to build the capacity of Thai ministries in reporting Official Development Assistance (ODA) data with accuracy and transparency, according to international standards.
During the workshop, participants discussed, shared experiences, and engaged in exercises in breakout sessions in reporting ODA statistical data. The success of this workshop not only ensures that Thailand’s ODA database is accurate, reliable, and aligned with the international standards, but also demonstrates Thailand’s commitment, working in close collaboration with OECD as an emerging development partner in international fora, to advance sustainable development.
