On 11 February 2026, Mr. Grisada Phakakarn, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Mr. Miyashita Kazumasa, Volunteer Coordinator of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Thailand Office, jointly presided over the Handover Ceremony of three (3) Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCVs) held at TICA, Government Complex. At the ceremony, the JOCVs were handed over to (1) Office of the Basic Education Commission; (2) Ministry of Social Development and Human Security; (3) Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Their term of assignment are for 2 years, in 3 fields; (1) Japanese Language Education, at Sa-nguan Ying School Suphan Buri Province; (2) Youth Activities, at Suratthani Welfare Protection Center for Victims of Trafficking in Person (Baan Srisurat) Surat Thani Province; (3) Tourism, at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University Phetchaburi Province; which will expand knowledge and skill for Thai officer and youth, and also promote people-to-people connectivity
