On 13 February 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Mr. Arnold Wicki, Assistant Director General of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, and delegation.  Also in attendance were Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, and relevant officers, at Situation Room, TICA Office.

Both sides discussed the posiblity of  extending cooperation in areas of  transboundary pollution, water management, and disaster preparedness and response, as well as continuing the Project on Poverty Reduction through Safe Migration, Skills Development and Enhanced Job Placement (PROMISE) Phase III, with the International Labour Organisation (ILO), to develop skills and increase employment opportunities for migrant workers in Thailand. Furthermore, Thailand expressed interest in initiating trilateral cooperation on agriculture with Switzerland in Africa to drive policies under the Thailand-Africa Initiative (TAI), as outlined in the Minister of Foreign Affairs' statement.  Both sides also explored the singning of a Memorandum of Understanding on development cooperation between TICA and SDC.
