The Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in collaboration with the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, successfully organized a training course on “the Intensive English Language Course (IELC)  for Officials from Lao PDR from 17 to 28 August 2026 at the DVIFA in Bangkok. Conducted under the Thailand–Lao PDR 3-Year Technical Cooperation Framework for Human Resource Development (2026–2028), the two-week intensive training brought together 17 officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).

The program was designed to advance participants' operational capabilities and professional confidence across diverse international scenarios. Key modules focused on (1) International Meetings & Negotiations, (2) Diplomatic Drafting & Speech writing and (3) Professional Presentation.
