On 12 September 2025, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Ms. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, jointly presided over the World Friends Korea (WFK) KOICA Volunteer Handover Ceremony held at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada.  Besides, the representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), as well as the representatives from relevant universities and college under MHESI and OVEC also attended the event. 

At the ceremony, five (5) WFK volunteers were handed over to 5 Universities to serve in Korean Language Education for one year, namely; Thepsatri Rajabhat University, Bansondejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Suan Dusit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Sakhon Nakhon Campus, and Rayong Technical College.
