From 7–10 September 2026 in Medan, Indonesia, representatives of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) participated in the 32nd IMT-GT Ministerial Meeting and related meetings.

On this occasion, Lt. Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in his capacity as Chair of the IMT-GT Working Group on Human Resource Development (WGHRD), presented the outcomes of the 16th WGHRD Meeting to the Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM). His presentation highlighted progress under the Implementation Blueprint 2022–2026 and future directions for HRD cooperation, including upskilling and reskilling, strengthening TVET, enhancing labour market information linkages, and aligning skills development with industry needs — all aimed at strengthening competitiveness and sustainable growth across the IMT-GT subregion.
