On 19 May 2023, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), together with Ms. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Thailand Office, co-chaired the meeting to conclude the 4th Three-year Action Plan on Partnership Cooperation between KOICA and TICA in the year 2023 – 2025. Also presented at the meeting were Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, and staff from both TICA and KOICA.

The meeting finalised the sectors of cooperation as well as activities to be implemented in the 4th Action Plan during the year 2023 – 2025. Sectors of cooperation include (1) Fisheries, (2) Water Resource Management, (3) Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), and (4) Human Resource Development (HRD) and Others. In this regard, both sides expressed readiness for the execution of all activities under the 4th Action Plan, aiming to acquire useful knowledge and experience necessary for national development in the long run.
