On 23 June 2022, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Mr. KAWABE Ryoichi, Senior Representative, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Thailand Office attended TICA – JICA Working Group Meeting 2/2022 along with relevant representatives from JICA, Thailand Office, Embassy of Japan in Thailand and TICA.

Both sides discussed the result of consideration of summary sheet and the shortlist of project proposals submitted by various Thai Ministries and agencies for Thailand-Japan Technical Cooperation Programme of Japan Fiscal Year 2023. They also discussed preparation for the upcoming submission process for project proposals under Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) as well as the extension of the Partnership Arrangement between JICA and TICA, signed on 15 September 2017.
