On 24 June 2565, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director – General, acting Director – General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Ms. Elizabeth Yee, The Rockeffeller Foundation (RF) Executive Vice President of Program Strategy and Chief of Staff and delegation to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA). Mr. Cheevindh Nathalang, Deputy Director-General of TICA, was also present at the meeting.

Both sides discussed the next phase of strengthening RF-TICA cooperation in potential fields including medical, public health, food innovation, energy. Those collaborative fields are in line with TICA’s 4S priority areas, namely health, food, employment, energy and environment. The Rockefeller Foundation also provided an update on its technical cooperation in Thailand and in priority countries of Asia and Africa.
On this occasion, Ms. Yee expressed her appreciation to Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of TICA who inspired the realization of the project between the Foundation and Mahidol University. The support of TICA, will strengthen capacities of medical and public health professionals, food system-related policy makers and nutrition professionals to improve public health and food security in Thailand and other developing countries.
