On 16 July 2026, Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), represented the Agency at the launch of UNFPA’s Demographic Futures Survey Report 2026 and the commemoration of World Population Day 2026, organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The event was held at Auditorium 801, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, Chulalongkorn University.

On this occasion, TICA was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by UNFPA in recognition of its contributions to promoting and supporting development cooperation, particularly South-South and Triangular Cooperation, in partnership with UNFPA. These collaborative efforts have played a significant role in advancing inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development that leaves no one behind, both in Thailand and at the international level.

The recognition reflects TICA’s strong commitment to working closely with international organizations and partner countries to advance sustainable development cooperation and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through knowledge sharing, capacity development, and practical international cooperation initiatives, TICA remains dedicated to fostering partnerships that deliver tangible and lasting development outcomes.
