On 13 July 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Dr. Suthep Petchmak, Secretary-General of the National Health Commission Office (NHCO), along with a delegation comprising Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Senior Advisor on International Affairs; Ms. Nanoot Mathurapote, Director of the International Cooperation Bureau, and NHCO Officials. The meeting was held at the Reception Room at TICA Office. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA, together with relevant TICA officials, also attended the meeting.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of public health, particularly by supporting Thailand’s leading role in advancing the Health in All Policies (HiAP) approach, which promotes the integration of health considerations into policies and actions across all sectors to improve the well-being of people in Southeast Asia. This initiative would be pursued within the framework of the World Health Assembly (WHA) of the World Health Organization (WHO). In this regard, TICA will support NHCO to organize an international workshop to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and experiences on the development and implementation of the HiAP approach.
