On 15 May 2025, Lieutenant Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), led a delegation from African countries to visit Siam Cement Group (SCG) to attend a briefing and study technologies focused on efficient energy and resource management aimed at minimizing environmental impact. The visit highlighted innovations such as waste heat recovery, biomass energy utilization, solar power adoption, and the development of low-carbon city models.

In the afternoon, SCG, in collaboration, with Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI) and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Department of Drainage and Sewerage, organized a site visit along the Prem Prachakorn Canal and the Pracharuamjai 1 Community. This community is part of the Baan Mankong (Secure Housing) Program, which focuses on providing affordable housing solutions for low-income residents, addressing issues of informal settlements on public land, and enhancing urban landscapes.
