The 5-year Co-forming Project scheme is a collaboration between TICA, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and Electrical and Electronics Institute (EEI), under the Ministry of Industry. Scheduled for commencement in 2025, this project aims to promote green and sustainable refrigeration industry by encouraging Eco-Design, reducing environmental impacts from production and proper disposal processes of refrigerants, and raising awareness among civil society in choosing and properly managing refrigeration products.
In this regard, Executive Director of EEI was pleased with such initiatives, viewing that it provides great opportunity to learn best practices from Korean refrigeration industry in order to exchange experience and knowledge to elevate refrigeration industries of Thailand and ASEAN Member Countries towards environmental friendliness for sustainable economic development. At the same time, Deputy Director-General of TICA reaffirmed TICA’s full support for EEI and KOICA to ensure successful implementation of the project
