On 18 November 2025, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the Medical Equipment and Educational Resources Donation Ceremony organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Park Yongmin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, and Mr. Chucheep Thammapetch, Deputy Governor of Songkhla Province. The ceremony was held at the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization (SPAO).

The donation includes 33 patient beds and 43 oxygen tanks to support and strengthen palliative care services, which were handed over to the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization. The donation from the RoK Government through KOICA also includes more than 3,000 books and 27 computers to Somboonsard School in Na Thawi District.

The ceremony brought together representatives from both countries, reflecting the close cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of Korea in enhancing quality of life and promoting educational opportunities for people in Songkhla.
