On 14 November 2025, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), co-chaired a meeting with Mr. Jean-Pierre Marcelli, Southeast Asia Regional Director and Thailand Country Director of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), to review the progress of projects implemented under the 3-Year Work Plan (2023–2025) for the Cooperation Programme between TICA and AFD at the AFD Thailand Office.

The meeting noted the reports presented by representatives from AFD Thailand and Lao PDR, Expertise France (EF), the Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), and the Research Institute for Development (IRD) on the progress of the 12 projects being implemented at the bilateral, trilateral, and regional levels, covering  areas such as environment, green finance, agriculture, public health, community development, and urban planning.

In addition, both sides also exchanged views and discussed ways to enhance cooperation under the new 5-Year Work Plan (2026–2030) for the Cooperation Programme, which is scheduled to be signed in Paris next year.
