On 4 December 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), delivered Chairman’s Summary at the 7th Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation, held under the theme “Harnessing South-South Cooperation for Inclusive Societies in Asia and the Pacific.” The forum was co-hosted by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) from 2-4 December 2025 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok.

The Director-General of TICA stated that the forum brought together more than 100 participants from 28 countries, including those from the Asia-Pacific region as well as other regions worldwide. This reflected the shared commitment of participating countries to advancing South-South and Triangular Cooperation in pursuit of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. In addition, the forum highlighted the importance of strengthening and expanding inclusive development cooperation networks, applying technology and innovation, and promoting monitoring and evaluation. The Director-General also reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to work closely with ESCAP member States, development partners, and international organizations to further advance South-South and Triangular Cooperation and ensure concrete and lasting benefits for all.
