On 18 April 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Ms. Sirilak Chiangwong, Head of the United Nations Population Fund Office (UNFPA) in Thailand, on a courtesy visit. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on advancing development cooperation.

Both sides acknowledged the success of previous South-South and triangular cooperation flagship projects jointly implemented by TICA and UNFPA. Furthermore,they explored possible projects on South-South and triangular cooperation under 2025 Annual Workplan between TICA and UNFPA, including promotion of sexual and reproductive health in Nepal and support for maternal and child health care servicing as well as preventing gender-based violence in refugee camps along the Thai-Myanmar border.
