15 July 2026 – Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and a member of the Mekong Institute Council, attended a welcome dinner at the invitation of Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee, Chairman of the Mekong Institute (MI) Steering Committee.

The dinner provided an opportunity for senior representatives to exchange views and further strengthen the longstanding partnership among the Mekong Institute, Thailand, and New Zealand.

They also underscored the shared commitment of the Mekong Institute and its partners to advancing sustainable development cooperation and addressing common challenges in the Mekong subregion, including transboundary haze pollution, water resources management, and transnational crime.
