On 2 October 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura Na Ayudhya, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Mr. Cyrille Bellier, Head of the Asia, Middle East, and Europe Department of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), on the occasion of his visit to Thailand, at the TICA Office.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the continued progress of Thailand–France development cooperation under the current TICA–AFD Work Plan for 2023–2025, and discussed the formulation of a new five-year Work Plan for 2026–2030, which will include exploring the possibility of expanding collaboration to trilateral projects in Africa in the future.

Following the discussions, the Director-General of TICA attended the reception celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of AFD’s Office in Thailand, held at the Residence of the French Ambassador. He conveyed congratulations on the close diplomatic relations between Thailand and France, and commended the long-standing partnership between TICA and AFD, which has played an important role in supporting Thailand’s sustainable development over the past 20 years.
